Our Worship
All people are created to worship God. And true meaning in life is found only when we worship and walk with Him. Consequently, congregational worship is our number one priority at Cedar.
God has provided many ways to commune with Him - the Bible, prayer, Baptism and the Lord's Supper - just to name a few. Cedar Church delights in these privileges each week and looks forward to meeting with God in our Sunday services. In our worship, the Bible is our chief guide. Not only does it tell us how to be right with God through Jesus Christ, it also tells us how God best enjoys being worshipped. Because of this, we worship God with both reverence and great joy.
Our worship is responsive. We listen to God speak through the sermon and the sacraments. We respond back to Him by singing, praying, praising and cheerful giving of ourselves and our offerings.
We believe that worship is a family event and encourage people of all ages to participate in our service. A nursery is available for infants and toddlers. However, children are always very welcome in worship.
